Who this is for
A company whose website is actively losing them work. Where you win once you are in the room but keep not getting into the room, and where the site is the reason a buyer chose the larger-looking competitor without ever making contact.
It is the right product when the business is credible and the digital footprint is not.
What you get
- Information architecture designed, not inherited: what pages exist, how they nest, what each is for, and how somebody gets from a search to the thing they wanted
- Structure and page plan built around how your buyers actually decide
- Conversion architecture: what each page is for, what it asks, and where it leads
- All copy written, page by page, from your positioning
- Hand coded, with no page builder, no theme and no outside plugins, for speed and for security
- Built mobile first, because that is where your buyer opens it
- Built for search and for AI answers from the structure up, rather than optimised afterwards
- Structured data wherever it applies: organisation, services, products, jobs, reviews, so a search engine reads what the page is rather than guessing
- Design and build, distinctive rather than templated
- Lead capture that qualifies, and routing so enquiries reach the right person
- Analytics and Search Console installed, configured, tested against a real submission, and explained
- Everything in your name: hosting, domain, analytics, accounts
How it is built
Hand coded, every time. No page builder, no purchased theme, and no reliance on outside plugins. That is not craft for its own sake. It buys you two things directly, and two more that you only notice later.
Speed, because nothing loads that we did not put there. No plugin dragging in its own stylesheet and its own copy of a library so that one button can animate.
Security, because the usual way a site like yours gets compromised is through somebody else’s plugin rather than through the site itself. Taking that out removes the most common route in, and most of the Friday afternoon patching with it. It does not make a site invulnerable, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Anything we write still needs updating, monitoring and sensible controls, which is what the care plan is for.
Then the two you notice in year two. It cannot rot quietly, because there is no subscription that can lapse and silently take a feature with it. And it can still be changed, because there is no template arguing with whoever edits it next.
Mobile first, not mobile squeezed. The small screen is designed first and the desktop layout is built out from it. Doing it the other way round is how you end up with a site that technically works on a phone and is unusable on one, which matters because that is where most of your buyers will meet you.
Search and AI answers are structural, not a task at the end. The information architecture, the headings, the internal linking and the way each page states what it is are all decided so that a crawler and a language model can both work out what you do and who you do it for. Optimisation bolted on afterwards is fighting a structure that was never built for it.
Structured data wherever the content earns it. Markup for the organisation, the services, and where relevant products, jobs, events and reviews. Where a search engine supports an enhanced result, that markup is what makes a page eligible for one: a rating, a price, a set of open roles. Eligible is the honest word. Nobody can promise inclusion, and Google retires formats when it feels like it, as it did with FAQ results in May. It is also the machine-readable version of what you do, which is increasingly how you get quoted rather than crawled.
Analytics and Search Console from day one, configured properly, tested with a real enquiry before launch, and explained to you so the reporting means something. Both in your accounts, not ours.
How it works
- Structure, page plan, conversion architecture. Signed off before anything is written
- Copy written page by page, reviewed as it goes rather than all at the end
- Design and build
- Forms, tracking, routing, testing
- Launch, redirects, monitoring
What we need from you
- Positioning that exists. If it does not, Foundations comes first and we will say so rather than inventing it inside the build
- Sign-off at two gates: the page plan, and the copy. Both within a week
- Proof: client names, numbers, results, anything we are allowed to publish
- One approver. With more than one, the page plan does not get signed off and everything behind it waits
What this is not
- Not a redesign of what you have. We start from what the site needs to do. If you want the existing structure preserved, say so now, because it changes everything.
- Not built on assumption. Without positioning underneath, the copy will hedge, and hedged copy is why most B2B sites sound identical.
- Not finished at launch. A site that is not maintained starts decaying the week it goes live, which is why every build ends on a care plan.
- Not a page estate. Hundreds or thousands of programmatic pages is Estate Expansion, a different product built on top of this one.
